1975 Parshall
Parshall had a well balanced team in 1975 when they won the title. They faced a scrappy Lehr team in the first round, then Mott, and finally the Larimore Polar Bears. Larimore’s coach was former Parshall head coach and legend Bill Frueworth. Parshall was coached by a great basketball mind - Whitey Bucholz. It was an epic battle, with John Hauge supported by very capable team mates – any of which could bring the ball down court and/or be the leading scorer. A huge Class B Tournament snowstorm capped off the weekend and forced many of the fans to find overnight accommodations in Bismarck.

2000 Semifinal between #1 Oak Grove and Sheyenne Minnewaukan
S-M down 17 points at halftime and ending up sending the game into overtime on a 3 at the end of the 4th quarter. Oak Grove won by 2 points in overtime. It was a game that was really exciting to watch, you were nervous for both teams.
2005 Championship Game
New Rockford-Sheyenne 67, Bottineau 65 (2 OT)
Michael Cudworth (NR-S) banks in a 18 footer to win the game in double overtime after being down by 16 points in the 4th quarter. Probably the best championship game to ever be played in Class B.

2001 Championship Game
Cando vs. North Border
The undefeated and #1 ranked Cando Cubs and North Border Eagles played in the 2001 State Championship Game. The Eagles and Cubs met earlier that season with a near 30-point victory in Walhalla for the Cubs. North Border got out to a big lead and by as many as 22 in the game before the Cubs stormed back into the game behind Jonathon Lindahl's hot shooting. The Eagles were able to hold on and win the game with a final score of 74-65 in one of the biggest upsets in state tournament history.

2007 Championship Game
Parshall vs. Trinity
I have been attending the state basketball tournament since I was one years old. I have missed only one tournament since then, which is 19 tournaments I have attend. I always watched the other teams fans celebrate after they won the Championship game, I wanted to be those fans. This year that dream came true when Parshall won the Championship game and a whole sea of purple and white stormed the court.
